The 3rd Rising Stars of Manga - UK & Ireland book has sighted in stores! :D I still haven't got my hands on a copy yet but it should be available on Amazon now. The Comic section in the Gallery has some sample pages from my story, T Times which is in the book.
I'm uploading the artwork I submitted for the RSOM cover, along with a commission I did for the Swedish manga magazine Shojo Stars, which is also seeing stores this month, albeit only in Sweden. My final year exams are over (finally!) and I am now writing up my big project report. I'll be going to China in July and will be back in August to start working on overdue projects. Summer at last! :D New illustrations for the gallery.
I am currently working on and off on a short story for an anthology compiled and written by Fehed Said, the writer for The Clarence Principle. More information about the anthology , Talking to Strangers, and the other artists can be found on his blog. Revision period is starting now and my final year exams are looming only about a month a away... >< On a happier note, the 3rd Rising Stars of Manga - UK & Ireland book has been listed on Amazon and my story, T Times is in it. The release date has been set for June. Comic section updated with Fairy Play, my 5-page entry for NEO magazine's manga competition this year which was featured in NEO 39. Early this month I also found out that I won the Grand Prize in Tokyopop's Rising Stars of Manga UK & Ireland 3! :D My entry is called T Times and can be read on Tokyopop's website at the moment of writing. 6 months left until graduation. Looking foward to it! Comic section updated with sample pages from Another Summer Day which was released yesterday (26 Oct) in Mammoth's Book of Best New Manga 2 and with Wings a short manga submitted to the Japanese embassy competition Manga Jiman. |
